Jodie Davis is the Practice Nurse and Practice Manager at Village Medicine in Brunswick Heads, where she provides compassionate, person-centred care and supports the smooth running of the practice.
Having grown up in the Northern Rivers, Jodie has a deep appreciation for the region’s strong sense of community and natural beauty, from the beaches and waterways to its relaxed, outdoor lifestyle. This local connection shapes her approach to care, which is grounded in empathy, respect, and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing of others.
Jodie’s career journey has been shaped by diverse life experiences. She began as a chef, developing a passion for good food, and nurturing others - values that continue to influence her work in healthcare. After exploring a range of industries and completing study in various disciplines, she found her calling in medicine, where her curiosity and care for people could truly combine.
She spent more than eight years working in medical administration, building meaningful relationships with patients and discovering how much she valued being part of their healthcare journey. In 2021, she began a Bachelor of Nursing, completing her degree in 2024 to pursue her goal of providing hands-on, compassionate clinical care.
In her dual role at Village Medicine, Jodie combines her nursing expertise with her practice management experience to deliver a supportive, efficient, and caring environment for both patients and the team. She is passionate about creating a space where people feel heard, respected, and cared for - reflecting the heart of Village Medicine’s care philosophy.
